After living in Brighton for a year, I have grown very fond of the Lanes and the seafront. My ideal day in Brighton involves a stroll through the Lanes and a walk from the pier down to the beach huts in Hove. Here are a few snapshots over the course of my last few trips to Brighton.
THE LANES
Whether you want to dine, drink or stroll, the Lanes offer everything from bakeries, chocolate shops, pubs, boutiques and more.
BRIGHTON PIER
I’m not the biggest fan of arcade games and amusement rides, but I still enjoy Brighton Pier. My favorite thing about walking along the pier is looking back to view the seafront from the sea. The third photo is a view from the pier in 2015 when the Brighton Wheel was still around.
BRIGHTON SEAFRONT
I was lucky enough to have a seaside view from my flat while I lived in Brighton. The beach was just a walk across the street. When the weather is nice, it’s lovely to sit on the beachy pebbles and enjoy fish and chips…as long as you can keep the seagulls away.
SIGHTS IN HOVE
As you continue down the seafront, you can wander into Hove, which shares the seaside. Here you can lounge on the Hove Lawns and check out the colorful beach huts.
